Outpatient Oncology RN Manager needed to open new Cancer Center


One of the top healthcare systems in Delaware is searching for an experienced Outpatient Oncology RN Manager to lead its COC Accredited Cancer Center. You will also have the coveted opportunity to plan and open the healthcare system’s second and brand-new Cancer Center.

This Nurse Manager will lead an experienced nursing team (50 FTEs) in the areas of Medical Oncology, Radiation Oncology, Triage, and Infusion Therapy at the busy center, which has nearly doubled patient volumes in the last year. The Nurse Manager will also lead the Oncology Nursing Clinical Research Program.


The Cancer Center treats most cancers but primarily:

  • Breast
  • Colon
  • Rectal
  • Lung
  • Skin
  • Prostate
  • Women's


This ideal candidate will have about five years of Oncology RN experience, preferably including chemotherapy administration, clinical trial, and community education program knowledge. Nurses with an OCN will earn quick interviews as will those with leadership experience within an Outpatient or Inpatient Oncology setting. Licensed RNs working as Clinical Coordinators, Charge Nurses, Assistant Nurse Managers, Oncology Nurse Navigators, or Oncology Clinical Nurse Educators are also encouraged to apply.
