Brand Manager- Innovation Job with CPG Food Manufacturer HQ Based Role in Yakima County, Washington.
PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:
The Brand Manager - Innovation will help drive structured critical thinking throughout the organization. You will be knee deep in developing innovation plans to create a best-in-class expanding portfolio. You’ll stretch yourself by fluidly exercising both right brain and left brain thinking, with responsibilities spanning deep data analytics, financial assessments, project management, technical processing, ideation and most importantly, thought leadership.
The Brand Manager manages the marketing mix for assigned product lines within all business-to-consumer channels to deliver maximum profit and margin. Position creates and maintains meaningful relationships with consumers to build long-term brand loyalty.
The position works closely with Assistant Marketing Managers, Foodservice Marketing Manager, Sales, Research &Development, Supply Chain, Operations, Quality Assurance, Finance, research companies, ad and promotion companies, and package designers.
This position reports to the Director of Marketing and may oversee projects completed by Assistant Marketing Managers responsible for day-to-day execution of elements of the marketing mix).
Drive Projects: Lead various internal / external teams and manage the deliverables of assigned projects including a robust innovation pipeline, new product development, innovation research, and other ad hoc projects
Develop and monitor business plans and performance for assigned product lines. Manage pricing, product mix and go to market strategy to achieve volume, market share, and margin objectives and recommend and implement corrective action to achieve margin for assigned product lines.
Create and execute long range plans and programs (i.e. trade promotions, consumer promotions, advertising, public relations, event marketing) to ensure the ongoing viability of assigned products. Plans and programs should create a meaningful connection with our consumer or provide value added service that increase Tree Top’s effectiveness with key customers
Identify needed product line improvements and cost reduction opportunities. Implement smaller opportunities and define larger projects for implementation by the larger cross functional teams. Activities may include: package redesign, line extensions, and/or formulation changes.
EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATION/LICENSES, AND TRAINING:
· A Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or related field.
· Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing or a related field with a proven track record of success.
