We are seeking a highly motivated, hands on Engineer who has a proven track record of leading multiple capital projects and process improvements from concept through justification, installation and optimization.  This role will be responsible for researching, justify, plan, purchase and coordinate installation of processes and equipment to support new processes.  This job will be responsible for leading a team through development and execution or projects to completion.  The Role will report progress made on projects on a regular basis with emphasis on financial and project completion objectives.


Specific responsibilities include:

  • Solving plant equipment problems and improve operating processes and procedures
  • Kaizen Events
  • Eliminate waste and scrap
  • Improve Safety, Quality and Productivity
  • Capacity Analysis / Data Analysis 
  • Develop and maintain standard work instructions, SOP's, 5S Checklists and Standard work Audits
  • Train Staff on Lean Practices
  • Waste elimination, Standard Work, 5S, Pull System, Kaizen, SMED, KATA and other lean activities
  • Continuous Improvement 
  • ROI for projects

The Selected individual for this job will be responsible for the overall company and plant initiatives, and will be given the resources to accomplish all goals with a company truly committed to Lean, Six Sigma, OPEX and Continuous Improvement


Requirements for consideration include:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
  • 3+ years of experience working in a lean manufacturing environment 
  • Experience with Lean principles and concepts
  • Experience in Kaizen Events
  • Experience with Continuous Improvement
  • Microsoft Access, Project
